Our Founder

Scott A. Harrison, Ed.D., M.B.A. is founder and president of The Harrison Group, LLC.  THG is a human resources consulting firm specializing in organization-wide performance system design and the purposeful alignment and integration of systems that connect people, performance and pay. Since 2011, Dr. Harrison has worked with top educators in Maine and researchers from around the country in several roles, including leading a 7-year $40 million federally funded school improvement initiative aimed at improving educator effectiveness and student learning. THG's mission is to continue this work, refining the tools, cultivating the trust, and supporting the success of teachers and leaders with research-based solutions for optimizing teaching and learning conditions. 

Our Company

The Harrison Group, LLC is an organizational consulting firm and service bureau founded in 1994 and located in the coastal town of Yarmouth, Maine, US. THG specializes in the design and outsourced administration of organization-wide performance systems and services that promote a high performing workforce that is aligned in purpose, teamed in its efforts, and motivated to excel at achieving individual and collective success.
